Since 1983, the Heritage Society has used the funds raised during its annual Candlelight Tour to accomplish a variety of preservation tasks in our area. Some of these include projects or donations to the following:
1. Relocation and renovation of the log cabin located immediately South of the double log cabin at Holland's Lake Park (cabin)
2. The Second Ward school house relocation and renovation at Soldier's Spring Park (it was burned to the ground by vandals)
3. At the Parker County Courthouse: 1) refurbishment of the NE first floor meeting room; 2) refurbishment of the NW second floor law library; 3) purchase and installation of the wrought iron work atop the Courthouse; (iron decor) 4) cleaning the limestone exterior, 5) $5,000. in 2013 for Courthouse Christmas lights.
4. Trees and shrubs on the Square around the Courthouse (with Grace Cartwright)
5. Restoration of the caboose located next to the Chamber of Commerce

6. Restoration of Greenwood Memorial Chapel on Greenwood Cut-off Road
7. City Greenwood Cemetery: 1) tombstone cleaning and restorations

8. 1888 Parker County map restoration (the original map is location at the Land Office on the Capitol grounds, Austin, TX)
